Description
Radiesse is based on synthetic calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) suspended in a carrier gel of water, glycerin and sodium carboxymethyl cellulose, with 0.3% lidocaine hydrochloride. Over time the gel is resorbed and replaced by soft-tissue growth, while the calcium hydroxylapatite remains at the injection site.
The result is a long-term but non-permanent restoration and augmentation of volume. Supplied as one 1.5 ml syringe.
