Juvederm Ultra 3, marketed as Ultra Plus XC, is a highly cross-linked hyaluronic acid dermal filler from Allergan, produced with Hylacross technology for a smooth-consistency gel.
Manufacturer indications include nasolabial folds and other medium wrinkles, lip augmentation and raising the oral commissures. It contains 0.3% lidocaine hydrochloride for patient comfort; the XC designation denotes the lidocaine formulation.
Juvederm Ultra 3 is a Class III medical device for administration by qualified practitioners only. Anna's Cosmetics supplies it to licensed injectors; effects are temporary as the hyaluronic acid is biodegradable.
